Description
This training is designed for REALTORS® working in today’s complex legal, market, and policy environment. Participants will learn about the history of fair housing and early REALTOR® practices and policies, review the fundamentals of federal and Michigan fair housing law, and examine current issues affecting real estate practice—including private listings, appraisals, the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, financing options, the impact of market changes on vulnerable communities, and recent changes in federal guidance. The course emphasizes practical application. REALTORS® will learn business practices that minimize risk and promote fair housing compliance and how to better support clients—especially when housing supply is decreasing and prices are increasing.
